Family Nurse Practitioner Fellow
This month, we’re excited to introduce Celine Boutin, one of our Nurse Practitioner Fellows at the Raymond Center! Our APRN Fellowship Program helps new nurse practitioners build confidence and sharpen their skills while working closely with experienced providers. Celine is loving the opportunity to grow in this program and provide great care to our patients. From her journey in nursing to her love of staying active outdoors, get to know Celine in this month’s Staff Spotlight!
LHC: Tell us a little about yourself. Where did you grow up? How did you get here?
Celine: I was born, and raised, in Manchester, NH. I studied nursing and philosophy at the University of New Hampshire and worked as a nurse in the hospital setting after graduating. I went back to school and obtained my Masters in Nursing from Rivier University. I am very excited to be a part of the APRN Fellowship Program at Lamprey. I think it is a fantastic way to prepare new nurse practitioners!
LHC: What do you like most about working at Lamprey Health Care?
Celine: I’ve wanted to work in healthcare for as long as I remember. I kind of stumbled into nursing in college and I’m very happy that I did. If I wasn’t working in healthcare I think I would enjoy working with plants or in education.
LHC: Did you always want to work in healthcare? What would you do if you weren't doing this?
Celine: I’ve wanted to work in healthcare for as long as I remember. I kind of stumbled into nursing in college and I’m very happy that I did. If I wasn’t working in healthcare I think I would enjoy working with plants or in education.
LHC: What are some of your favorite things to do outside of work?
Celine: My favorite things to do outside of work include gardening, hiking, biking, meditation, and yoga!
LHC: What advice would you give to others to be healthy?
Celine: My advice for others to be healthy is to start small. Big changes can be overwhelming and starting small helps to build momentum! Adding one serving of veggies a day or going for a daily walk can make a big difference!
