Pediatrician

Dr. Anderson joined Lamprey Health Care in 2020 as a pediatrician. He completed his Bachelor of Science and his Doctor of Medicine at West Virginia University in Morgantown, VA. He takes an enthusiastic and caring approach to every one of his pediatric patients. He also ensures that any medical concerns that parents have for their child are his absolute top priority. Dr. Anderson also sees patients at the Newmarket Site.

IN MY FREE TIME: Outside of the office, you can often find him enjoying the outdoors; from hiking and camping to sailing the waters. He also has a love for vintage Volkswagens.

Alicia Aymat earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Regis College and completed her undergraduate degree at Salem State University.

Her clinical interests include preventive health, chronic disease management, and patient education. She is passionate about building strong relationships with her patients and delivering care that is patient-centered, compassionate, and empowering. She enjoys helping individuals better understand their health and make informed decisions to improve their overall well-being.

OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE: “During my free time, I enjoy reading, shopping, traveling, trying different foods, and cooking new recipes. I also love spending quality time with my husband, friends and family, and our two dogs, Luna and Apollo.”

Lingyan Chen, MS, APRN, FNP-C

Family Nurse Practitioner

Ms. Chen joined Lamprey Health Care in 2019 as part of our Nurse Practitioner Fellowship program. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, with a Master of Science in Nursing. “I believe good health depends on a strong patient-provider relationship built on trust. I am passionate about treating the whole person, not just symptoms.” Ms. Chen’s areas of clinical interest include preventive health, medication assisted treatment for substance use disorders, and providing mobile services on Lamprey Health Care’s Mobile Health Van.

ABOUT ME: “I like to spend time with my rescue dog and family. I enjoy exploring new cultures through food and travel.”

David Deifik, MD FACOG – OB/GYN

Obstetrician/Gynecologist

Dr. Deifik joined Lamprey Health Care as a part-time OB/GYN Physician in 2015. He graduated from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX in 1976 and completed specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Brown University affiliated hospitals in 1980. Dr. Deifik’s’s areas of interest are normal obstetrics and well woman care. He is also a Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) prescriber. “I enjoy helping guide moms in having the happiest and healthiest pregnancy possible.”

FAVORITE HOBBY: “Cycling, when there isn’t four feet of snow on the ground.”

Stephanie Hallenbeck

Stephanie Hallenbeck, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC

Family Nurse Practitioner

Stephanie joined Lamprey Health Care in 2022 in the Family Nurse Practitioner Fellowship. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. Steph’s doctoral thesis explored the improvement of patient outcomes through education and behavioral change; this remains a key area of focus in her practice at Lamprey. Steph believes that patient care should be a collaborative enterprise and provide her patients with the best possible guidance so that they can make informed healthcare decisions.

OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE: Steph also serves as a nurse in the U.S. Air Force Reserve, following several years of active duty, including four in Japan. In her spare time, Steph can be found working around her 18th-century farmhouse and playing with her golden retriever, Muji.

Radhika L. Katru, MD

Family Physician

Dr. Katru earned her MBBS from Andhra Medical College in India and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at New York Medical College – SVC MC Brooklyn and Queens Program.

She enjoys all aspects of internal medicine but is especially passionate about caring for elderly patients and helping them manage chronic medical conditions. She also has a strong interest in metabolic disorders and the role of nutrition in overall health.

Dr. Katru values the opportunity to make a positive impact in the community through her work. Providing support, compassionate care, and guidance to her patients is what she finds most rewarding in her role as a physician.

OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE: “I love spending time with my family, gardening, and being out in nature. I speak English, Telugu, and a little Hindi, and I look forward to building meaningful connections with my patients.”

IN MY FREE TIME: “I have made my home with my family in Nashua since 2008. I am an avid tennis player and love playing cricket, an Indian sport much like baseball.”

Her clinical interests include addiction medicine, LGBTQ+ health, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. Madison is passionate about getting to the heart of her patients’ concerns and working collaboratively to find personalized treatments that truly make a difference in their lives.

Janna Thompson

Janna Thompson, PMHS, CPNP

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Janna Thompson completed her Associate of Science degree in Nursing at NH Technical Institute, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Franklin Pierce University, and received a Master of Science, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from Boston College.

Ms. Thompson comes to Lamprey Health Care with experience as a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Manchester, NH and as a Pediatric Primary Care Mental Health Specialist and Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Harbor Care Health and Wellness Center in Nashua, NH.

Janna is Board-Certified in Pediatric Primary Care and Pediatric Behavioral Health. She is a Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Provider. Janna provides all-inclusive integrated care to the pediatric population and their families. Her clinical areas of interest include newborn, well-child and adolescent care, behavioral health, and community health.

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY ABOUT BEING A Health Care Professional?: I enjoy using a holistic approach working with children, teens and their families, and helping them to navigate a complex health care system. I feel that one of the most important parts of my job is to provide the education patients and their families need to help them make informed choices about their health care. Being able to care for the medical and behavioral health of children is extremely rewarding.

IN MY FREE TIME: “I retired from the Army Reserves in 2015 after almost 23 years of service. When not at work you will usually find me watching my daughters playing one of their many sports. I enjoy the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with my husband, our daughters, and our three dogs.”

Sylvia completed her residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, CT.

Katrin Bergeron

She is a graduate of Brown Medical School and completed her Family Medicine residency at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. Her areas of clinical interest included obstetrics and pediatrics. Dr. Bergeron is Board Certified in Integrative and Holistic Medicine and is also a Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) prescriber. “I enjoy helping patients make positive changes to lead healthier lives.” Dr. Bergeron is interested in how emotional and spiritual health impacts our physical well being.

She received her degree from the University of Minnesota and completed her residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN. “I love getting to know my patients as people and helping them make decisions that are right for them based on their values and preferences in the context of their families and physical health.” Her areas of clinical interest include palliative care, chronic disease management, complex medical patients, and hospice. Ms. Brighton joined Lamprey Health Care in 2023 as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of New Hampshire, an Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Duke University, and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Saint Marys College Notre Dame. Casey’s doctoral thesis involved the identification, prevention, and advocation for human trafficking victims and will remain an area of focus in her practice, in addition to preventive medicine, health promotion, and underserved populations. “The best part of being a healthcare provider is having the opportunity to build relationships with patients to assist in improving their overall health and well-being.”

Dr. Crusberg joined Lamprey Health Care in 1998 as a Board Certified Family Physician. After graduating from Vanderbilt University, she attended The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where she received her M.D. She completed her family practice residency at The University of Colorado Health Sciences in Lafayette, CO. Dr. Crusberg’s areas of clinical interest include supporting and educating patients on healthy lifestyle choices and chronic disease management.

Monica Lord joined Lamprey Health Care in 2023 as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Master of Science Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Sacred Heart University in 2016 and her Master of Business Administration from the University of Hartford in 2003. She received the Nightingale Award for Excellence in Nursing scholarship and the HRSA Advanced Education Nursing Traineeship Grant. Monica is passionate about creating a relationship with her patients that focuses on informed, shared decision-making and open communication. Her clinical areas of interest include developmental pediatrics, chronic disease management and substance use treatment.


IN MY FREE TIME: “I like to spend time with my husband, teenagers, and dogs. I also enjoy being at the beach on a crisp day, curling up somewhere with a good book and trying new restaurants.”

Ms. Nichols is proficient in Spanish, and her areas of clinical interest are pediatrics, diabetes, and women’s health. She is also a Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) prescriber. “I enjoy empowering my patients and teaching them how to use physical activity as a means of longevity.”

Dr. Tamanaha joined Lamprey Health Care in 2022 as a Family Physician. He received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in 2016. He completed his residency at the University of Wyoming in Casper, WY. Most recently, his Family Medicine Obstetrics Fellowship was at Creighton University in Omaha, NE.

Dr. Tamanaha’s areas of interest are full spectrum Family medicine. “I love seeing patients of all ages with varying degrees of complexity. Easily the best part of family medicine and my job is the opportunity to meet some amazing people. In choosing to complete an obstetrics fellowship, my hope is that I get to share in some of life’s most exciting milestones and build relationships that grow with time. And being of service to these individuals is the whole reason why I chose this profession.”

IN MY FREE TIME: “I am a proud husband and father to four children. Honestly, the majority of my free time goes to spending time with my family. However, whenever I have time to myself, I enjoy all sports (watching, but mostly playing), especially soccer. I also enjoy reading, eating just about everything, and playing strategic board games.”

Dr. Tekelenburg joined Lamprey Health Care in 2019 as a Family Physician. Dr. Tekelenburg’s areas of interest include obstetrics, women’s health, preventive care, and office-based procedures. “I love getting to know my patients and caring for their entire family. I’m a strong believer in meeting people where they are, and taking small steps towards healthier, happier lives.” Dr. Tekelenburg is a Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) provider and is accepting new patients at our Newmarket Center.

WHAT I LOVE: “I love being outside, whether it’s hiking, skiing, or walking with my dog. I also enjoy curling up with a good book and spending time with friends. I’m currently trying to learn how to watercolor (it’s a work in progress).”

She went on to complete her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at MCPHS University in New Hampshire and her Master of Science in Nursing at Midwestern State University in Texas.

Her clinical interests focus on continuity of care in family medicine. She is passionate about building trusting relationships with her patients and providing high-quality, patient-centered care throughout their lifespan. Ms. Testa is dedicated to addressing healthcare disparities in local communities and health education to help individuals achieve their optimal health.

Prior to becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner, Ms. Wood was a Registered Nurse at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH. Ms. Wood’s clinical interests include Family-Centered Care, Preventative Medicine, and Adolescent Health. “I enjoy working with patients to help them define their own goals of health and engage in preventative measures while individualizing care to incorporate their personal lifestyle.”

Prior to joining Lamprey Health Care, she worked as a nurse practitioner in the Seacoast Area since 1978. Her clinical interests are pediatrics, adolescents, and women’s health.

IN MY FREE TIME: “I am a rock climber, acrylics painter, and music enthusiast. I spend my weekends seeking out New Hampshire’s beautiful technical rock faces. On rainy days, I’ll be relaxing with a paintbrush while listening to some great tunes!”

Colleen Packard

Dr. Packard joined Lamprey Health Care’s Family Nurse Practitioner Fellowship in 2025. She earned her Master of Public Health in Community-Oriented Primary Care from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Massachusetts Tan Chingfen Graduate School of Nursing in Worcester, MA.

Her clinical interests include integrating disease management—such as HIV, STIs, and viral hepatitis—into primary care practice. Dr. Packard is passionate about providing individualized, patient-centered care that helps each person achieve their health goals. She values building strong relationships with her patients and creating a welcoming environment where they feel supported and empowered.


OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE: “I grew up visiting New Hampshire and am now proud to call it home. I spend much of my free time hiking in the White Mountains and am working toward completing my 48 4,000-footer patch. I also love to travel and explore the outdoors around the world.”

Karen joined Lamprey Health Care in 2018 as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and from the University of New Hampshire with a Master of Science in Nursing. Karen is the Clinical Director of the Nurse Practitioner Fellowship Program, working closely with two fully licensed nurse practitioner fellows in their first year of clinical practice. Her patients are primarily seen by the nurse practitioner fellows for office visits in the clinic. Karen’s clinical interests include adolescent health, LGBTQ health, and addiction medicine. She works closely with the Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT) team helping people who struggle with addiction.

Rebecca Rouse

Dr. Rouse joined Lamprey Health Care in 2024 as a Board Certified Family Physician. She graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and received her Doctor of Medicine from Albany Medical College in Albany, NY. She completed her residency at David Grant Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, CA.

Her clinical areas of interest include pediatrics and woman’s health, but she enjoys working with patients of all ages.

“I’ve found people are more similar than they are different – as a healthcare provider, I have the opportunity to connect with a wide range of people, and by doing so, I might empower them to better their lives while also enriching my own.”

ABOUT DR ROUSE: “I grew up in Albany, NY. I joined the US Air Force with an HPSP scholarship for medical school, served overseas in South Korea, Germany, and a short tour in Iraq before separating. I also lived in Okinawa Japan as a civilian spouse for 3 years. My biggest passion is my family. I also enjoy music, theater, DIY projects, and anything outdoors.”

Katie Ruvolo

Dr. Ruvolo joined Lamprey Health Care in 2021 as a Board Certified Family Physician. She graduated from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY, and completed her residency at Ellis Medicine/Bellevue Woman’s Hospital in Niskayuna, NY. She also completed an OB Fellowship following her residency that certifies her to provide full-scope obstetrical care, including C-sections. Her clinical areas of interest are women’s health, adolescents, pediatrics, and the underserved population. “I focus on building long-lasting relationships over time and create individual health preventative plans that are catered to each of my patients.”

Tabinda Abro earned her Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling and Wellness from New York University. She is passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate life transitions, identity development, and the challenges of anxiety and stress. Her therapeutic approach is person-centered and strengths-based, with ongoing training in cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness-based techniques. Ms. Abro has a special interest in helping patients cultivate self-compassion and resilience.

What she enjoys most about being a healthcare provider is building deep, trusting relationships with her patients and guiding them through their healing journey. She values creating a safe, supportive space where patients feel heard, empowered, and accepted. She also finds fulfillment in the continuous learning that comes with counseling, as every patient’s experience helps her grow both personally and professionally.

 Jesse joined Lamprey Health Care in 2024 as a Licensed Social Worker. They received their Masters of Social Work and Bachelor of Social Work from the University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH. Specialties include Developmental Disabilities, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and Autism. Areas of clinical interest include substance use, shame, trauma, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and the intersection of physical well-being and mental health.

“I enjoy supporting patients in discovering the root causes of their behavioral pattern, unconscious cognitive habits, and working collaboratively to determine the best path of treatment through a warm, non-judgmental therapeutic rapport.”

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE: “I enjoy fitness, wellness and travel. Most days, you will find me in the gym, on a trail, or on a Yoga mat. I was a competitive powerlifter through my 20s and recently spent five months and 16,000 miles on a solo cross-country trip in my camper. My goal is to visit all of the National Parks.”

Renato Silva da Fonseca

Renato Silva da Fonseca joined Lamprey Health Care in 2022. He earned his master’s degree in Philosophy and Art at UFMG (Federal University of Minas Gerais) in Belo Horizonte, Brazil and went on to University Futura in Sao Paulo, Brazil to earn a postgraduate degree in Psychotherapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and Psychoanalysis. Renato’s interests are in providing mental health, especially to adults, adolescents, and young adults seeking treatment for depression and anxiety. “I enjoy being able to offer a safe, empathic environment for the patients to express. I believe in an approach that gives the patient the chance to understand how complex their subjectivity can be. Renato is bilingual in English and Portuguese.

IN MY FREE TIME: “I have a great interest in cinema, art, and literature. I like to cook while listening to Brazilian Bossa Nova, and I enjoy spending time with my family.”

Astrid Findon-Henry

Astrid joined Lamprey Health Care in 2019 as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Master’s Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She received a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern NH University. Astrid is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and IFS (Internal Family Systems) and a Tobacco Treatment Specialist.

She specializes in treating individuals with traumatic experiences and co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders, with a focus on the whole person with their strengths and abilities. She has worked in community health in the last 10 years and is passionate about providing high quality services to individuals who are not served in other system settings.

WHERE YOU’LL FIND ME: “In my free time, you will likely find me in the outdoors – on running trails, my road bike, or exploring new hiking trails. I enjoy cooking and spending time with my family (including my pets), and friends.”

Hannah V. Hastings

Hannah V. Hastings joined Lamprey Health Care in 2025 as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Smith College in 2012 and her Master of Social Work from Boston University in 2021. Hannah’s areas of interest include working with members of the LGBTQ+ community, young adults, and people experiencing transitions (both welcome and challenging) in their lives. She has also enjoyed supporting relationships through couples therapy and exploring the impact of physical health on mental health.

As a new resident of the seacoast, Hannah is looking forward to becoming involved in the community she is thrilled to call home.

IN MY FREE TIME: You can find Hannah trying new recipes (savory and sweet), spending time with loved ones, and working with her partner to cultivate a food forest.

Corinne McCafferty,

Corinne McCafferty joined Lamprey Health Care as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2024. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Sociology/Human Services from Black Hills State University in 2012 and her Master of Social Work from UNH-Durham in 2019. Specializing in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, she works with individuals with co-occurring disabilities, veterans/service members and their families, and adults/transition-aged clients with various mental health needs. Corinne values humor and shared humanity in her approach, empowering clients through a collaborative, person-centered model. Growing up as a military family member, she is adept at connecting meaningfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE: Corinne enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her cats, engaging in activities like board games, video games, reading, and bird watching for mindfulness and self-care.

Julie Mills

Julie Mills joined Lamprey Health Care in 2020 as a Masters of Social work and Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She received her master’s from the University of New England with a clinical interest in crisis intervention, anxiety, trauma, and depression. Her goal is to build solutions by recognizing and identifying patient’s strengths.

OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE: You can find her “spending time laughing and playing with my family. I love paddle boarding and also cooking”. She is also known for busting a move or two in her kitchen. Fun fact? She grew up on a 50-acre farm in Southern VT, so naturally, her favorite animal is a cow. Julie is now accepting patients at our Raymond Site.
