Missed Appointment Policy

In order to better serve all patients, Lamprey Health Care has a cancellation policy. Please take a moment to review:

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. This helps us offer that time to another patient who may need care.

If we don’t hear from you and you miss your appointment, it will be considered a no-show. After three no-shows in a year, we may ask that you begin scheduling same-day appointments as they are available instead of booking in advance. This ensures everyone has fair access to care.

Psychiatry Missed Appointment Policy

Psychiatry appointments are in high demand and often have a waiting list. If you cannot attend your appointment, please call us at least 24 hours in advance so we can offer the time to another patient.

If you miss a psychiatry appointment without calling to cancel, it will be considered a no-show. Two no-shows within 90 days will require you to call the day you are available to check for open appointments rather than scheduling in advance.

We understand that unexpected situations happen and will always do our best to work with you.
