When I first walked into Lamprey Health Care as a new patient in September 2023, I wasn’t sure what to expect. From the moment I arrived, the Patient Service Representatives greeted me warmly, making the enrollment process seamless and stress-free. When I met my provider, I experienced something extraordinary—they truly listened.
They gave me the space to express my concerns, addressed my issues thoughtfully, and made me feel genuinely heard and cared for. It was more than a medical appointment; it was a moment of connection.
That visit left such a lasting impression that I found myself thinking,“I would love to work at a place like this.”Just two months later, that thought became my reality when I joined the team at Lamprey Health Care.
Now, I have the privilege of paying it forward every day. As part of the financial services department, I assist patients in navigating Medicaid, the Marketplace, and our sliding fee scale, ensuring they receive the care they need without unnecessary financial stress. Whether it’s setting up payment plans or finding creative solutions to keep patients out of collections, my goal is to help them prioritize their health.
Working here has been life changing. I get to extend the same compassion, care, and kindness that was shown to me to every patient I encounter. I truly love my job, the incredible team I work with, and, most of all, the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives.
