Board of Directors
A community-based Board of Directors comprised of patients and local citizens dedicated to our communities’ health and well-being provides governance to Lamprey Health Care. A Director of the board is a voluntary role and is appointed based on an individual’s ability to represent the community’s interests and to provide expertise, input, and oversight of the services that form the mission of Lamprey Health Care.
The Board of Directors meets monthly and is responsible for guiding the agency in overall fiscal, legal, and policy issues. It is our policy that a majority of our Board Members be patients of Lamprey Health Care.

Words From Our Board

“It has been an honor and a privilege to be a member of the Lamprey board of directors for over 30 years, as well as a patient. I am immensely proud to be a part of this outstanding organization that truly cares about its patients and makes a difference in people’s lives every day!”

“I’m very proud to support our staff in providing healthcare to our community regardless of ability to pay.”

“Health Care Matters! Plus, I have always had a drive to give back to the communities I have lived in. Being part of the Lamprey Board helps fill that need.”

“Community Health Centers are essential to a healthy, vibrant community and it is a privilege to be part of an organization that provides vital services to our community.
Fun fact: I was on the Gateway Community Health Center Board of Directors, when Lamprey Health Care purchased Gateway almost 30 years!
”

“By serving on the Board, I have an opportunity to support an important organization in my local community and to let people know the benefits I have received from the outstanding healthcare available here.”

“I am grateful to have the opportunity to share my experiences as a patient of Lamprey and my experience working at a health center for 27 years. More importantly, I love being able to show my appreciation and gratitude for the staff working here.”

“I am deeply honored and proud to serve on the Board of Directors of Lamprey Health Care. In my professional life I have collaborated with Lamprey for years and know firsthand how important they are to the health of South Eastern New Hampshire. They fill the gaps of care in the community and address not just the medical needs of our patients no matter how they come to us, but also their social needs. Lamprey is an under-recognized community leader that is there for people when they most need help and support.”
