Lamprey Health Care Hires Three Behavioral Health Providers to Slash Wait Times and Expand Access

Lamprey Health Care is taking bold action to improve access to mental health services by adding three new Behavioral Health (BH) providers to its team. This expansion comes at a time when patients across the U.S. often wait 6–8 weeks for an initial behavioral health appointment — a delay that can be critical for those in need.

Meet the New Providers:

  • Monique Lamore, MSW, LICSW — Raymond Center

Monique Lamore brings extensive experience supporting adults, teens, and pre-teens. With a Bachelor’s in Behavioral Science from the University of Maine at Fort Kent and a Master of Social Work from the University of Maine in Orono, she specializes in depression, anxiety, trauma, mindfulness, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and strength-based approaches. Monique is passionate about building meaningful connections, helping clients navigate life’s challenges, and fostering resilience.

  • Yeney Armenteros, MSW, LICSW-C — Nashua Center

Yeney Armenteros holds a Master of Social Work from the University of New Hampshire, a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Granite State College, and an Associate’s in Early Childhood Education from Nashua Community College. She specializes in child and adolescent mental health, trauma-informed care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT, and Motivational Interviewing. Yeney is dedicated to creating safe, culturally responsive spaces where individuals and families can heal, grow, and thrive.

  • Terry Trus, MA., LCMHC, NCC – Raymond Center

Terry Trus is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with more than a decade of experience in psychiatric hospital, community mental health, and school-based settings. She uses a collaborative, strengths-based approach, drawing from CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and EMDR. Terry focuses on understanding the whole person and creating a judgment-free space where patients can develop practical tools that fit their lives.

“We know that when someone reaches out for help, every day matters,” said Sue Durkin, Co-CEO of Lamprey Health Care. “By expanding our behavioral health team and specialties, we’re making sure our patients can get the care they need without the long delays that are far too common in today’s healthcare system.”

Durkin added, “Monique , Yeney, and Terry bring not only exceptional clinical skills but also a deep commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care. We’re thrilled to welcome them to the Lamprey team.”

Appointments with the new providers are now available, with significantly shorter wait times than regional averages.
