John Anderson, MD
Pediatrician
Dr. Anderson joined Lamprey Health Care in 2020 as a board certified pediatrician. He completed his Bachelor of Science and his Doctor of Medicine at West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. He takes an enthusiastic and caring approach to every one of his pediatric patients. Dr. Anderson will be seeing patients at our Newmarket and Nashua Center.
OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE: You can often find him enjoying the outdoors; from hiking and camping to sailing the waters. He also has a love for vintage Volkswagens.
Katrin Bergeron, MD
Family Physician
Dr. Bergeron joined Lamprey Health Care in 2007 as a Board Certified Family Physician. She is a graduate of Brown Medical School and completed her Family Medicine residency at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. Her areas of clinical interest included obstetrics and pediatrics. Dr. Bergeron is Board Certified in Integrative and Holistic Medicine and is also a Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) prescriber. “I enjoy helping patients make positive changes to lead healthier lives.” Dr. Bergeron is interested in how emotional and spiritual health impacts our physical well being.
IN MY FREE TIME: “You can find me raising my four children or running with my husband.”
Mary Braun, MD
Internal Medicine Physician
Dr. Braun joined Lamprey Health Care in 2017 as a Board Certified Internal Medicine doctor. She also has a specialty level qualification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. She received her degree from the University of Minnesota and completed her residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN. “I love getting to know my patients as people and helping them make decisions that are right for them based on their values and preferences in the context of their families and physical health.” Her areas of clinical interest include palliative care, chronic disease management, complex medical patients, and hospice. Dr. Braun also sees patients at our Raymond Center.
IN MY FREE TIME: “I enjoy hiking and cross country skiing as well as being with my family, including my dog. I am interested in philosophy and have written on Stoicism and Mindfulness. I have also spoken publicly on aspects of palliative care, as well as what I’ve learned about being a doctor from being a patient.”
Casey C. Brighton, DNP, APRN, FNP-C
Family Nurse Practitioner

Ms. Brighton joined Lamprey Health Care in 2023 as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of New Hampshire, an Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Duke University, and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Saint Marys College Notre Dame. Casey's doctoral thesis involved the identification, prevention, and advocation for human trafficking victims and will remain an area of focus in her practice, in addition to preventive medicine, health promotion, and underserved populations. "The best part of being a healthcare provider is having the opportunity to build relationships with patients to assist in improving their overall health and well-being."
IN MY FREE TIME: "I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being active outdoors, and trying new things!"
Heidi Crusberg, MD
Family Physician
Dr. Crusberg joined Lamprey Health Care in 1998 as a Board Certified Family Physician. After graduating from Vanderbilt University, she attended The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where she received her M.D. She completed her family practice residency at The University of Colorado Health Sciences in Lafayette, CO. Dr. Crusberg’s areas of clinical interest include supporting and educating patients on healthy lifestyle choices and chronic disease management. Dr. Crusberg also speaks Spanish.
Monica Lord, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Family Nurse Practitioner
Monica Lord joined Lamprey Health Care in 2023 as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Master of Science Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Sacred Heart University in 2016 and her Master of Business Administration from the University of Hartford in 2003. She received the Nightingale Award for Excellence in Nursing scholarship and the HRSA Advanced Education Nursing Traineeship Grant. Monica is passionate about creating a relationship with her patients that focuses on informed, shared decision-making and open communication. Her clinical areas of interest include developmental pediatrics, chronic disease management and substance use treatment.
IN MY FREE TIME: "I like to spend time with my husband, teenagers, and dogs. I also enjoy being at the beach on a crisp day, curling up somewhere with a good book and trying new restaurants."
Susan Nichols, PA-C, CAQ Psychiatry
Physician Assistant (Retired, Per Diem)
Ms. Nichols joined Lamprey Health Care in 2006 as a Physician Assistant. She received her Bachelor in Public Health from the University of Massachusetts, and her Physician Assistant Certificate from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Ms. Nichols is proficient in Spanish, and her areas of clinical interest are pediatrics, diabetes, and women’s health. She is also a Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) prescriber. “I enjoy empowering my patients and teaching them how to use physical activity as a means of longevity.”
IN MY FREE TIME: “You can find me biking, skiing, or enjoying the company of my two amazing daughters.”
Maureen Sunnerberg, MSN, APRN, FNP

Ms. Sunnerberg joined Lamprey Health Care in 2023 as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. Maureen's areas of interest include family-centered health and health promotion. "I enjoy building relationships with multigenerational families based on mutual trust and respect. I enjoy helping to empower patients with education and support to reach their goals.

Boyd Tamanaha, MD

Family Physician
Dr. Tamanaha joined Lamprey Health Care in 2022 as a Family Physician. He received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in 2016. He completed his residency at the University of Wyoming in Casper, WY. Most recently, his Family Medicine Obstetrics Fellowship was at Creighton University in Omaha, NE.
Dr. Tamanaha’s areas of interest are full spectrum Family medicine. “I love seeing patients of all ages with varying degrees of complexity. Easily the best part of family medicine and my job is the opportunity to meet some amazing people. In choosing to complete an obstetrics fellowship, my hope is that I get to share in some of life’s most exciting milestones and build relationships that grow with time. And being of service to these individuals is the whole reason why I chose this profession.”
IN MY FREE TIME: “I am a proud husband and father to four children. Honestly, the majority of my free time goes to spending time with my family. However, whenever I have time to myself, I enjoy all sports (watching, but mostly playing), especially soccer. I also enjoy reading, eating just about everything, and playing strategic board games.”
Saira Tekelenburg, MD
Family Physician
Dr. Tekelenburg joined Lamprey Health Care in 2019 as a Family Physician. She received her medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine and completed a family practice residency at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, ME. Dr. Tekelenburg’s areas of interest include obstetrics, women’s health, preventive care, and office-based procedures. “I love getting to know my patients and caring for their entire family. I’m a strong believer in meeting people where they are, and taking small steps towards healthier, happier lives.” Dr. Tekelenburg is a Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) provider and is accepting new patients at our Newmarket Center.
WHAT I LOVE: “I love being outside, whether it’s hiking, skiing, or walking with my dog. I also enjoy curling up with a good book and spending time with friends. I’m currently trying to learn how to watercolor (it’s a work in progress).”
Sarah Wood, MS, APRN
Family Nurse Practitioner

Sarah Wood joined Lamprey Health Care in 2022 as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She completed her Master of Science Family Nurse Practitioner advanced degree from the University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Prior to becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner, Ms. Wood was a Registered Nurse at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH. Ms. Wood’s clinical interests include Family-Centered Care, Preventative Medicine, and Adolescent Health. “I enjoy working with patients to help them define their own goals of health and engage in preventative measures while individualizing care to incorporate their personal lifestyle.”
IN MY FREE TIME: "In my spare time, I enjoy physical activities such as running, exercising or playing soccer, and particularly love getting outside in the warmer months. I also enjoy traveling and exploring new places with my husband."
Ana Goubert, MD
Family Physician (Per Diem)
Dr. Goubert joined Lamprey Health Care in 2013 as a Family Physician. She completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Boston University and attended the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biochemical Sciences. She completed her family practice residency at the UMASS Worcester Family Medicine Residency Program. Her areas of interest are women’s health, newborn care, and community health. Dr. Goubert is also a Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) provider.
