Meet Colleen Cote, one of our amazing Patient Service Representatives (PSR) Level III at the Raymond Center! As one of the first faces patients see, Colleen plays a key role in creating a warm and welcoming experience. Whether she’s scheduling appointments, assisting with paperwork, or helping patients connect with resources, her work is essential to making sure everything runs smoothly. Colleen’s dedication and friendly approach help ensure our patients feel supported and cared for every step of the way!
LHC: Tell us a little about yourself. Where did you grow up? How did you get here?
Colleen:I am a very proud momma to two grown kiddos, Drew and Helene , a fur baby Paisley, and a Meemaw to my best little guy Sawyer, who just turned one. I was born and raised in Danvers Mass. I bought my first house here in NH in 2003 and I’ve been in NH ever since.
LHC: What do you like most about working at Lamprey Health Care?
Colleen: I have come to know our patients quite well and love to see them come through the door. They usually come with stories or shenanigans that make me smile. I love my work family as well. I am blessed with a great group of co-workers.
LHC: Did you always want to work in healthcare? What would you do if you weren't doing this?
Colleen: I have been in health care since 1995. I couldn’t imagine doing much else, although my major in school was large animal science. I sure do love animals as well as people, so that would probably be the only other thing you’d find me doing.
LHC: What are some of your favorite things to do outside of work?
Colleen:Spending time with family is priority. I absolutely love to travel. Road trips, vacations, camp trips and exploring new places make me happy. I’ve been skiing since I could walk and there is no place I’d rather be than on top of the mountain!
LHC: What advice would you give to others to be healthy?
Colleen: Just listen to your body. Sleep if your tired, eat as healthy as you can, and hydrate. Laugh LOTS. Laughter is the best medicine.
